Job Title: Delivery Driver (7.5 Tonne / 3.5 Tonne Vehicles)
We are seeking a reliable and professional driver to join our team, operating a 7.5 tonne lorry with the majority of work carried out in a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
We are a bespoke packaging company manufacturing packaging for all different requirements from high end sound systems to medical and military equipment.
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm overtime is optional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, primarily a 3.5 tonne van and occasionally a 7.5 tonne lorry
- Carry out multi-drop or scheduled deliveries/collections as required
- Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care and cleanliness
- Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
- Comply with all road traffic laws and company procedures
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with appropriate entitlement for 3.5T and 7.5T vehicles
- In-date Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph (tacho) card
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Professional, punctual, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving
- Experience operating 7.5 tonne vehicles
Pay: From £13.62 per hour
