Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours) secretary/admin/assistant. Circa 12-20 hours a week

Humberts are a reputable and established national firm of Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors based in Norwich. We specialise in the sale of period houses, holiday complexes, and undertake valuations for bank security, private clients and undertake Homebuyer and Building Surveys.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced secretary/administrator to join our team, initially on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our surveyors, arranging appointments, preparing contracts, managing office tasks efficiently, and assisting on the agency side. This will involve instruction letters, preparation of property details and sales documentation. The successful candidate will have good communication and people skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence.
Booking surveys and preparing associated terms of business and contracts.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Proficiently use software programs such as Excel, Word, and Publisher to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Creating brochures, and completing instruction letters and memorandum of sales.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and property viewings as required.
Manage marketing and mailshot schedules.
Maintain accurate records and files both in physical and digital formats.
Assist with occasional property viewings and providing excellent customer service to all clients.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar administrative/property role would be helpful.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Publisher.
Knowledge and regular posting on social media channels.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Friendly and approachable demeanor and a good sense of humour .
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Willingness to undertake property viewings if required.
