SERFILCO are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Clerical Assistant at our busy Manchester facility. The P&C Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services necessary for the organisation's operations and processing of paperwork associated with sales orders, manufacturing and logistics. This position involves collaborating with suppliers, sales and production, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records within procurement systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

1. Photocopying
2. Answering email queries from customers or Suppliers or forwarding them to the relevant handler
3. Filing Sales orders/Purchase Orders/Dispatch Notes
4. Processing Sales orders and sending acknowledgements to the Customers.
5. Producing BOM’s and worksheets for the factory
6. Invoicing for Export Orders where necessary
7. Chasing purchase orders and updating progress
8. Processing purchase order acknowledgments
9. Updating Sales order shortage forms
10. Booking in of UK purchase orders, updating and completing the sales orders and allocating parts to orders
11. Passing UK purchase order invoices
12. Dealing with supplier queries to conclusion
13. Booking logistics / shipments online

Key Challenges:
To work as an effective team member to ensure that the necessary tasks involved within the Manchester production activity are completed in an effective and punctual manor.

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
