Silverstag Property Management Ltd is a dedicated Airbnb management company serving the Coalville/Ashby and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable and quality accommodation to our clients, ensuring their properties are well-maintained and functional.

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable self-employed Maintenance Technician / Handyman to carry out ongoing maintenance and repair work across a number of Airbnb (short-term let) properties. You will be responsible for keeping properties safe, functional, and guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities

General property up keep, maintenance and repairs
Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and DIY tasks
Responding to urgent maintenance issues during guest stays
Routine checks and preventative maintenance
Repairing or replacing fixtures, fittings, appliances, and furniture
Painting and up keep of properties
Reporting issues clearly to the property manager (photos where required)
Working alongside cleaners and management when needed
Ground and garden maintenance during summer months

Requirements

Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician
Self-employed status (must be able to invoice)
Own tools and reliable transport
Good knowledge of general property maintenance
Flexible availability, including occasional evenings/weekends
Reliable, professional, and trustworthy
Good communication skills
