Dog Handler Supervisor

Location: Based around the M25 with deployments across London, the South East and surrounding counties

Package: c. £38,000–£42,000 + vehicle + full K9 welfare package + benefits

MS Webb is building a premium in‑house K9 team and is looking for experienced Security Dog Handlers who are ready to step up into a Site Supervisor role.

You will still be on the ground with your dog, but with added responsibility for standards on site – acting as the on‑shift lead for MS Webb, supporting clients, and overseeing any subcontracted handlers working alongside you.

The role

Deliver high‑quality security dog services across a portfolio of construction, logistics, vacant property and commercial sites.
Act as site lead on designated deployments – briefing handlers, allocating posts and setting the standard.
Ensure all handlers (employed and subcontracted) follow site rules, welfare procedures and MS Webb policies.
Use company systems (e.g. Timegate) for booking on/off, check calls and incident logging.
Maintain excellent dog welfare and handler welfare on every shift.
Produce clear, accurate incident reports, notebooks and handovers.
Build strong working relationships with client teams and site management.

About you

We are looking for professional handlers who want more responsibility and long‑term stability:

Essential

Proven experience as a Security Dog Handler.
Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
Recognised K9 qualification (e.g. NASDU or equivalent).
Full UK driving licence.
Able to work nights and weekends on a rota basis.
Able to travel flexibly around the M25 and wider South East.
Strong communication skills and confidence to lead others on site.
High standards of presentation, welfare and professionalism.

Desirable

Experience supervising or mentoring other handlers.
Experience on construction / logistics / high‑profile sites.
Familiarity with workforce management / time‑and‑attendance systems.
