Wellness Retreat Chef Opportunity | North Devon

We are an award-winning Health & Wellbeing Retreat on the stunning North Devon coast, just outside Barnstaple, and we're looking to connect with experienced freelance chefs who share our passion for nourishing food, health and wellbeing, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Our award-winning Yeotown Reset Programme welcomes small groups of just 12–14 guests at a time, allowing you to focus on quality, creativity and connection rather than high-volume service. Menus are planned well in advance, creating a calm, organised kitchen environment without the chaos and unpredictability often associated with restaurant life.
What You'll Be Cooking
We're looking for a chef with a genuine passion for healthy, nutrient-dense cuisine and a flair for creating vibrant, colourful plant-centric dishes, alongside a selection of sustainable fresh fish options.
Our menus are free from:
- Dairy
- Gluten
- Refined sugars
- Wheat
- Meat
Guests are always curious about the food they enjoy during their stay, so you'll be comfortable engaging with them in an open kitchen, sharing your knowledge and inspiring them with healthy cooking tips and ideas.
The Role
Working alongside our close-knit team, you'll lead food service during retreat weeks (Wednesday lunch to Sunday lunch), serving breakfast, lunch and early evening meals in our beautiful country kitchen.
