Do you want to earn while you learn?
As an apprentice you will be responsible for developing both hand skills and enhancing your knowledge of engineering practices. You will keep a portfolio of evidence required to achieve the relevant qualifications for the pathway you are taking.
This position is part of the apprentice department and will be located in the manufacturing facility in Redruth. You will be required to work on day shift during your apprenticeship.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Develop hand skills on a variety of machines
- Follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and similar procedures.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- GCSE in Maths and Science at Grade 5 & English, Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above as minimum.

Competent IT skills, with experience in MS Office and other packages
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Engineering or other hands on production experience

High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills

Independent learning and the ability to respond to change in demand

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate for this role, with progression in line with development through the apprenticeship scheme. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
