Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and courteously to customers, ensuring a high standard of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with driving experience who enjoy working independently and engaging with customers.

Duties

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver food orders to customers within designated areas
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders, maintaining customer satisfaction
Handle food with care to prevent damage or spillage during transit
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety during deliveries
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary
Keep accurate records of deliveries made and report any issues or incidents promptly

Qualifications

Valid driver’s licence
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively during busy periods
Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is beneficial
