The Program Officer will support the coordination, delivery, and development of the organisation’s programmes and activities. This includes planning events, managing partnerships, supporting funding applications, and ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and meet organisational goals.
The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and confidence in working with a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting community-focused initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Programme Coordination and Delivery
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of programmes in line with organisational objectives
- Ensure activities are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Work with internal teams and external partners to support programme delivery
Events and Activities
- Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and community activities
- Manage logistics such as venues, materials, communications, and participant engagement
- Support evaluation and feedback processes following events
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, partners, and stakeholders
- Support collaborative working and information sharing across networks
Research and Development
- Contribute to research, data collection, and development of reports
- Support the development of new programme ideas and improvements
Fundraising and Grant Support
- Assist in identifying funding opportunities
- Support the preparation of funding applications, proposals, and reports
- Maintain accurate records for funders and internal use
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
- Collect and record programme data
- Support monitoring and evaluation processes
- Assist in producing reports on programme outcomes and impact
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake other duties as required in line with the role
- Contribute to organisational materials, newsletters, and team meetings
- Work flexibly to support the needs of the organisation
