Experience required:
Essential
- Excellent knowledge of DaVinci Resolve software.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
- Good understanding of digital camera systems, setup and operation.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience working on multi-camera editing projects.
- Experience working in theatre, live events or corporate video production.
- Blackmagic Design Cloud workflow experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit multi-camera theatre productions, corporate content and promotional videos using DaVinci Resolve software.
- Prepare, organise and archive project media.
- Assist with filming on location across the UK.
- Support camera setup, operation and troubleshooting during shoots.
- Create simple graphics and assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist with equipment preparation, maintenance and warehouse organisation.
- Work closely with clients and the production team to deliver projects on schedule.
- Assisting with day-to-day asset management.
Salary
35 hrs a week, flexi-time
Salary £25,000 - £28,000 a year
20 days holiday a year + bank holidays
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support live events and production schedules.

Candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Video Editor & Production Assistant to join our team in Ipswich.
The role is primarily focused on post-production, with the majority of your time spent editing content in DaVinci Resolve. Projects range from multi-camera theatre productions and live events through to promotional, social media and corporate video content.
Alongside editing, you will occasionally assist with filming and production work on location, supporting camera operation, equipment setup and content capture. Applicants must be willing to travel throughout the UK and occasionally stay overnight when required for productions.
We also use Adobe Creative Cloud to create graphics and supporting assets, so experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects would be advantageous.
The position is primarily office-based at our Ipswich facility, with occasional opportunities for remote working depending on project requirements.You'll be joining a small, friendly team where you'll have the opportunity to work across all aspects of production and develop a broad range of skills.
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
