As our business continues to grow and our workload expands, we are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our directly employed team.
The Opportunity
This is a diverse and rewarding role involving work across multiple contracts throughout Essex, Suffolk, and neighbouring areas. You will be involved in both planned and reactive electrical works, with a primary focus on new-build residential developments, solar PV installations, and commercial projects, with the option to progress into a QS / Management / Estimating role
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix electrical installations.
- Perform inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with current industry regulations.
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and undertake associated remedial works.
- Install and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Maintain accurate job records using digital certification and job management platforms.
- Work safely, efficiently, and professionally within both occupied and vacant properties.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and clients.
Skills and Experience Required
- Fully qualified Electrician with Level 3 qualification, AM2, and ECS Gold Card.
- Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience carrying out EICRs, fault finding, and remedial works.
- Sound knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
