Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and creative Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise advanced data analysis tools and techniques to inform strategic marketing decisions while contributing to the design and optimisation of digital marketing assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, creating insightful visualisations, supporting market research initiatives, and assisting with website design and optimisation to drive business growth.

Duties
- Analyse large datasets using statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python to identify trends and patterns relevant to marketing strategies.
- Develop comprehensive data visualisations, reports, and interactive dashboards to communicate insights effectively across teams.
- Utilise SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and manage data from multiple sources for in-depth analysis.
- Conduct market research to understand customer behaviour, preferences, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
- Monitor and evaluate digital marketing campaigns using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools to assess campaign performance and user engagement.
- Support the development of predictive models, customer segmentation, and marketing optimisation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Design, update, and maintain website pages, landing pages, and other digital assets using modern web design principles.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimised for SEO and conversion.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or other website builders/CMS platforms to implement design improvements and marketing content.
- Assist in improving website performance, user experience (UX), and conversion rates through data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain organised documentation of data sources, methodologies, website updates, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, R, SQL, Python, Power BI, SPSS, SAS, or similar statistical software.
- Strong understanding of data visualisation techniques and best practices for presenting complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of digital analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with market research methodologies and statistical analysis within a marketing environment.
- Experience in web design and website management, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms.
- Understanding of responsive web design, user experience (UX), user interface (UI) principles, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to create and optimise landing pages to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field is preferred but not essential if complemented by relevant professional experience.
Pay: £17.44 per hour
