Amble and Broomhill are seeking an additional Salaried GP to join our team for up to 8 sessions per week, working across both sites.

We believe that a sustainable workload and supportive environment are key to delivering excellent patient care and maintaining job satisfaction. To support this, our GPs benefit from a pro-rata session of protected administrative time each week, as well as flexible arrangements for GP sessions.
We offer a comprehensive induction to both NPC and the practice, with structured support to help transition into navigation and duty GP roles, as well as a graduated introduction to managing a patient list. New GPs are supported with regular one-to-one sessions throughout their first year, followed by annual appraisals.

As a GP Practice which is part of Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC), we work with flexibility and independence to run the surgery based on what is best for our patients and staff, and additionally we have the regular and consistent support of the management team to help us to focus on what is clinically important.
As a Salaried GP the post holder will be a key clinician within the team. A job plan will be agreed with you to provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
At Amble and Broomhill, we use a digital triage system for all GP appointments and patient queries. Full support and training will be provided, as this forms a key part of the GP working week.

The post holder will work as a member of the multidisciplinary Practice team to provide general medical services for the needs of the practice population and to help ensure the Practice provides the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
The post holder will manage a busy caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
The post holder is expected to contribute to the operational and strategic management of the practices within Northumbria Primary care and there are opportunities for personal and professional development across a wide range of areas within primary and secondary care.
