Pay rate: £14 per hour (Real Living Wage Employer with annual pay increase)
Position: Full time role with requirement to work alternative weekends
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our domestic team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our residents.
This is a key leadership role within the home, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of housekeeping and domestic services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping and domestic team, supporting performance and development
- Ensure all bedrooms and communal areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard daily
- Manage stock, equipment and resources effectively
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with current legislation and standards
- Plan staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels across 7 days
- Carry out supervisions, appraisals and return to work interviews
- Train and support domestic team to deliver a high-quality service with the support from in house learning and development manager
- Ensure compliance with H&S, COSHH, and infection control procedures
