Electrical Manager- Keco Energy

Location: Flexible – North West

Keco Energy is a leading PAS 2030 and MCS-accredited installer delivering retrofit, electrical upgrade, and renewable energy solutions across the UK. Our services include Solar PV, electrical upgrade programmes, consumer unit replacements, rewires, insulation, ventilation, and whole-house retrofit measures designed to improve energy efficiency, enhance electrical safety, reduce fuel poverty, and support the transition to net zero.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Manager to lead our electrical operations, support our expanding electrical and Solar PV programmes, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality across all projects.

The Role

Reporting directly to the senior management team, the Electrical Manager will take responsibility for the technical and operational delivery of electrical works across our electrical upgrade, retrofit, and renewable energy programmes.

The successful candidate will oversee electrical compliance, support project delivery teams, manage engineers and subcontractors, and play a key role in maintaining our excellent reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all electrical activities across domestic electrical upgrade, retrofit, and renewable energy projects.
Lead the delivery of consumer unit replacement programmes, electrical remedial works, rewires, EICR-driven improvement works, and associated compliance activities.
Provide technical leadership and support to employed engineers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Building Regulations, MCS requirements, PAS 2030 standards, and company procedures.
Act as the company's lead for electrical compliance, technical governance, and quality assurance.
Review electrical certification, designs, testing results, and installation standards.
Support the delivery of Solar PV, battery storage, ventilation, and associated electrical installations.
Monitor project performance, productivity, quality, and programme delivery across multiple contracts.
Conduct technical audits, inspections, and site visits to ensure standards are maintained.
Manage electrical remedial works, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in developing and improving operational procedures, quality systems, and electrical delivery processes.
Support training, mentoring, and development of electrical operatives and supervisors.
Work collaboratively with project managers, retrofit coordinators, designers, client representatives, and compliance teams.

Essential Requirements

Demonstrable experience in an Electrical Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Qualified Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and current electrical regulations.
Experience managing electrical upgrade programmes, testing and inspection activities, and electrical compliance requirements.
Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and delivery teams simultaneously.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of electrical inspection, testing, certification, and remedial works.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

NICEIC Qualified Supervisor experience.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
Experience delivering EICR programmes and electrical upgrade contracts within social housing environments.
Solar PV installation and compliance experience.
Experience working within PAS 2030, PAS 2035, ECO4, Warm Homes, SHDF, or social housing programmes.
Knowledge of MCS certification requirements.
Experience with battery storage and renewable energy technologies.
