Mortgage Adviser Training & Development Manager (Remote)

Location: Remote (UK-based) – Monthly meetings in Manchester
My Mortgage Co (MMC) is a growing mortgage brokerage and academy, committed to supporting and developing the next generation of mortgage advisers.
As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a Mortgage Adviser Training & Development Manager to guide newly qualified advisers as they progress into confident, capable, and high-performing professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about coaching and adviser development to play a key role in shaping long-term success across the business. You will provide hands-on support with business development, lender criteria, compliance guidance, and overall case management - ensuring advisers have the knowledge, structure, and confidence needed to manage mortgage cases independently and achieve Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured training and coaching to newly qualified advisers
- Conduct regular 1:1 sessions to provide support, guidance, and performance feedback
- Support advisers with mortgage case development and lender criteria
- Provide guidance on compliance and FCA requirements
- Assist with business development and adviser growth strategies
- Monitor adviser progress and ensure competency targets are achieved
- Provide ongoing mentoring to help advisers build strong pipelines and long-term success
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a strong mortgage background, such as:
- Experienced Mortgage Adviser/Broker
- Lender Business Development Manager (BDM)
- Mortgage sales, training, or coaching professional
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing individuals, including training, upskilling, and competency sign-off
- Ability to effectively support and coach advisers remotely via video calls, phone, and online systems, ensuring consistent development and performance.
- Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including products, lender criteria, and regulations
- Up-to-date external market awareness and knowledge of mortgage and protection propositions
- Confident communicator with strong mentoring and leadership skills
- Ability to work remotely while supporting advisers nationwide
- Must be UK-based and able to attend monthly meetings in Manchester
Qualifications
Essential:
- CeMAP (or equivalent) OR R01 / CF1 and CF6
