Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. All positions are paid, including internships, with opportunities for career development within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring timely delivery
Serve beverages and meals in accordance with health and safety standards
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations
Assist in food preparation or garnishing as required
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure efficient service
Respond promptly to guest enquiries or special requests to enhance guest satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; a friendly demeanour and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Good communication skills and a professional appearance
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
Experience with guest services or upselling techniques is beneficial
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
