Enhance EHC Ltd is an SME based in Braintree, Essex. We are the longest established SEND document support company in the UK; our mission is to provide SEND professionals with services and products to improve the quality and consistency of all documents involved in the education, health and care plan (EHCP) process. We have a small office team that manage the administrative function of the business and a team of writers who work remotely across England producing draft Education, Health and Care plans.
About the role
We’re looking for a part time Marketing Officer to join our office team and help generate leads and drive the business forwards. Although you will be working as part of our small office team, you will be solely responsible for all marketing activities in the company. We are looking for a motivated, proactive individual who can take the current role and tailor it to their marketing strengths – it’s a great opportunity for someone with experience in marketing to develop the role into their own. You will be required to learn all there is to know about Enhance and the SEND sector so that you can produce engaging and relevant content to keep our mainly public sector audience informed about our business and promote our online training courses. You will take responsibility for activities such as campaign delivery, digital marketing activity and performance tracking.
Please note that the salary advertised is FTE – the actual pay for this role for 18 hours per week is £16,971.43 PA.

What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Marketing
You will build our annual marketing plan alongside the Managing Director in line with business goals to ensure regular and timely campaigns are planned in. You will be responsible for managing and reviewing the marketing budget. You will also keep up with SEND sector developments, policy changes, and best practice through online research, attending online conferences and networking with strategic alliances.
Creative Content & Campaigns
Your main responsibility will be planning and delivering multi‑channel campaigns that raise awareness and generate leads, creating compelling content for social media, email, websites, and print. You will need strong story telling skills and writing ability to get our message across in a consistent and impactful way. You will also need some design skills to produce brochures, leaflets, and other promotional materials in conjunction with external print companies.
Email Marketing/Advertising
One of our most effective marketing methods is through email campaigns and direct targeted emails. You will be delivering product‑led, educational and promotional content to subscribers. You will maintain and continue to grow our mailing list organically, via content, social media and website pop-ups, and use an email marketing platform to manage, segment and send campaigns.
Website & E‑commerce
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our website and online shop. You will be able to optimise product pages to increase enquiries and conversions and ensure product details, pricing, and imagery are accurate and engaging. You will review the traffic through the website and work to improve user journeys and support online promotions.
Market & Competitor Insight
The SEND sector is ever-changing so a key part of the role will be researching trends, audiences, and competitors to spot opportunities and threats and report back to the management team.
CRM & Analytics
You will keep CRM data accurate and up to date. You will analyse and report back on campaign performance and recommend improvements. You will possess a solid grasp of keyword research, on-page optimisation, and basic technical SEO concepts to improve website visibility.
PR, Events & Networking
You will be required to attend sector events and exhibitions (1–2 per year). You will need to be confident in marketing the business and making key links. You will also be responsible for growing and managing our LinkedIn discussion group and professional network.
