Brierley Pressings Ltd is a small family-run manufacturing business supplying components to the commercial vehicle industry.
We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to work from engineering drawings, set and operate press brake machinery, and take pride in producing quality work.
This role would suit someone looking for a long-term position where they can become a valued member of a small team rather than just another number.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate press brake machinery
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Produce components to required quality standards
- Carry out quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work closely with management to meet production deadlines
- Assist with general workshop duties where required

- Previous press brake experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attendance record

Experience:

- Engineering Drawing Interpretation: 2 years preferred
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
