Team Leader
Positive Independence is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our team in a specialist solo children’s home in Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in a young person’s life, providing stability, encouragement, and high‑quality care within a supportive and professional environment.
The home, located in Morton, is designed to support one young person with highly complex and challenging behaviours who requires a consistent 2:1 staffing model. This provision has been carefully developed to meet the needs of children who require a highly individualised, therapeutic approach, and as such, we are seeking a strong, resilient leader who is confident in managing complexity and driving positive outcomes within a solo setting.
The Team Leader will be responsible for the daily operations of the home, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to standard, while also identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement. They will provide supervision and support to a small team of care staff, aligning with the home's core values and ethos. While on duty, the Team Leader will ensure the smooth and effective running of the home and will report directly to the Deputy Manager, who will offer guidance and support as needed.
Positive Independence currently operates 7 homes across Mansfield, Lincoln, Newark and Grantham, all of which have achieved Good or Outstanding outcomes in their Ofsted inspections. We are also in the process of registering our 8th home in Newark, reflecting our continued growth and commitment to high-quality care.

- Be committed to providing high-quality care and promoting positive outcomes with a child centred approach.
