Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Cook The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive exceptional meals.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Assist with serving meals when required, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A team player who can work collaboratively with others while also being able to take initiative when needed.
