Full job description

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a full time Guest Service Manager. We want a confident communicator who brings personality and shine to our team.

The perfect candidate will have supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry, ideally having worked in a hotel, bar or restaurant.

Hours: 40 hours per week (working a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts)

Shifts: 4 or 5 shifts per week (including mornings, evenings and weekends)

Main Roles & Responsibilities

Managing a team of Guest Service, and Food & Beverage assistants.
Working across all departments including reception, bar & kitchen
Helping guests & creating positive experiences
Manage hotel room inventory & checking guests in/out
Managing bills & payments
Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries.
Running the bar
Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely

You will have 'Hamptonality'

Great energy and a can-do attitude
Great at managing people, and you love chatting with guests
Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service
Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience

Supervisor or management experience in hospitality industry
Knowledge of hotel reservation systems
Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
