Outline of the role:
We’re looking for a Court Officer to join our team at Dumbarton Sheriff & JP Court on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is based fully on-site in the court. As a Court Officer, you will support the delivery of court hearings, working alongside members of the judiciary and legal professionals to ensure proceedings are conducted safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do

Prepare courtrooms and support Sheriffs during proceedings
- Welcome and guide witnesses, jurors, professionals and members of the public
- Support the safe and orderly running of the court building
- Assist with courtroom technology, including audio‑visual equipment
- Handle documents, productions and general admin tasks
- Work closely with colleagues, Police Scotland, GEOAmey and partner services.
