Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Salcombe (TQ8)

Pay Rate: £14.82 Monday-Friday Days – £15.45 8pm onwards and nights/ all day Saturdays - £16.48 all day Sundays per hour

As a support worker, you will play an integral role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes.

What will be your responsibility be:

We are currently seeking experienced Support worker who will be supporting a 21-year-old who has a spinal cord injury. We are looking for people who really do care and want to feel proud about the work they do every day. Our client requires a team around him who are caring and skilled (or keen to learn).

All training can be provided, if you have the right approach. Experience of delivering care in people’s own homes is beneficial but we will provide any training you need or wish to have.

What we are looking for:

Holding an NVQ Level 2 or higher in a relevant field is desirable.
Complex care: 1 year (preferred)

Hours/Schedule:

We are looking for staff who are able to work both day and night shifts to accommodate different schedules and ensure the continued care of our client in the comfort of their family home. Flexibility is key in this role, as you will be required to work various shift patterns, including alternate weekends on a rolling rota.
