Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and maintain the high standards within our laboratory . The successful candidate will lead quality assurance initiatives, develop and implement quality control procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to continuous improvement processes and uphold our commitment to our customers

Duties

Maintain the Laboratory strategy to ensure all incoming materials, components, samples and stability samples are tested in compliance to the relevant customer requirements, laid down procedures and current regulatory requirements.
Required to work in accordance with the written rules and guidance of EU GMP, where applicable.
Management of human resource matters for laboratory staff.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control policies and procedures within the laboratory
Lead inspection and testing activities to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements
Analyse data from quality inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement
Train staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements
Maintain quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions within the laboraotry
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections or compliance reviews
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency
Oversee management of laboratory instrumentation.
Support the Lab Supervisor as they oversee the laboratory testing requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a quality management role within a QC Laboratory.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO17025/GMP
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of quality excellence
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in Quality Management or related disciplines are preferred but not essential

This position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise will directly impact company performance.

Pay: From £33,000.00 per year
