Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and maintain the high standards within our laboratory . The successful candidate will lead quality assurance initiatives, develop and implement quality control procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Duties
- Maintain the Laboratory strategy to ensure all incoming materials, components, samples and stability samples are tested in compliance to the relevant customer requirements, laid down procedures and current regulatory requirements.
- Required to work in accordance with the written rules and guidance of EU GMP, where applicable.
- Management of human resource matters for laboratory staff.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control policies and procedures within the laboratory
- Lead inspection and testing activities to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements
- Analyse data from quality inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement
- Train staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements
- Maintain quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions within the laboraotry
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections or compliance reviews
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency
- Oversee management of laboratory instrumentation.
- Support the Lab Supervisor as they oversee the laboratory testing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a quality management role within a QC Laboratory.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO17025/GMP
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of quality excellence
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant qualifications in Quality Management or related disciplines are preferred but not essential

Pay: From £33,000.00 per year
