We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our friendly team working across four family-run care homes. Full time and part time hours available which is paid weekly.
This is a flexible role suited to someone who is practical, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Main Duties:
- General maintenance and repair work across all four care homes
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, and DIY tasks
- Ensuring homes are well maintained, safe, and presentable
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests
- Supporting with preventative maintenance and upkeep
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance role
- Experience in painting and decorating is essential
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance duties
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Flexible approach to work
- Full driving licence preferred due to travel between homes
