Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Mobile Patrol Officer / Security Officer due to continued growth across Scotland. Ensure the safety and security of premises through active surveillance and patrol duties. This role involves monitoring designated areas, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, be physically fit, and committed to maintaining a secure environment. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals interested in security operations and community safety.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations using company vehicle or on foot to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security breaches.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to observe activity and detect suspicious behaviour or security risks.
Respond swiftly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate assistance as required.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings to management.
Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly.
Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance is given in case of injuries or medical emergencies.
Engage with staff and visitors professionally, offering guidance and support as needed to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

Prior experience in security or surveillance is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Possession of first aid certification is required.
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physically fit with the ability to patrol large areas on foot or via vehicle.
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driving licence is mandatory. This role provides an essential service in safeguarding property and people while offering a dynamic work environment for dedicated security professionals committed to excellence in safety standards.

Pay: £12.71-£13.45 per hour
