What you’ll do
- Welcome & handover: Greet children before school and ensure they arrive safely at their entry points; collect them after school and bring them to the club.

- Learning support: Offer gentle support with reading, homework, or school tasks.
- Outdoor fun: Help children explore and enjoy outdoor play in the school playground.
- Snacks & wellbeing: Prepare and serve healthy after-school snacks in line with Food Standards Scotland guidance.
- Safety first: Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures, including risk assessments.

- First Aid and Paediatric First Aid certificates
- Food Hygiene qualification
- Safeguarding/Child Protection training
- Knowledge of Health & Social Care Standards and the UNCRC
- PVG and SSSC registration (we can help with this)
If you don’t have all of these yet but have a positive attitude and a passion for working with children — we’d love to hear from you.
