Position Summary
The Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure construction projects are delivered on time. The role works closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to track progress and identify potential delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules from planning through completion.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
- Prepare progress reports and schedule updates for management.
- Ensure project activities are aligned with project milestones and deadlines.
- Support planning meetings and project reporting.
Requirements
- Experience as a Construction Scheduler, Project Planner, or Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project planning.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
