Medical Secretary

Transplant Unit

This is a permanent post for a medical secretary in the Transplant department based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Previous medical experience is not essential however you must have proven audio typing abilities. You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and previous experience using Trak. You must also have a high level of attention to detail.

As you will be required to deal with a wide range of people, a polite and courteous manner is required as well as a methodical, organised approach to work. You will be required to prioritise conflicting demands and as such the ability to work under pressure is essential.
