Job Opportunity: Variable Hours Tutor (Business & Management)

Salary: £46.79 per hour teaching

Status: As required / Variable Hours

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for Business and a global outlook? We are seeking dedicated Variable Hours Tutors to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching across our Business programmes. This role offers the unique opportunity to support students both locally and at our international partner centres. Predominantly teaching duties, with occasional marking/ supervision only responsibilities (these duties would be payable at £25 per hour).

The Role

The main function of this post is to deliver teaching on specific modules within the Business division. You will be responsible for providing a transformative learning experience for undergraduate students through lectures, seminars, and studio-based sessions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Subject Delivery: Demonstrating expert knowledge in Business, specifically focusing on Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Marketing, Finance, and HR.
Instructional Excellence: Preparing engaging lessons and developing appropriate audio-visual and VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) materials.
Student Support: Providing essential tutorial support and pastoral care to help students from a wide range of backgrounds succeed.
Academic Administration: Maintaining accurate class records, completing registers, and marking student assessments in a timely manner.
Quality & Development: Attending examination boards, course committees, and participating in staff development events as required.

International Travel & In-Person Delivery

This is an in-person teaching role. In addition to on-campus delivery, the successful candidate will be required to travel to our international partner centres to provide face-to-face instruction. Key locations include:

Botswana
Malawi
Vietnam
