About the Role
You will be at the heart of our customer journey, ensuring every customer receives a professional, friendly and personalised service from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
- Welcoming customers and identifying their individual needs.
- Assisting customers with frame selection, styling advice and product recommendations.
- Accurately interpreting prescriptions and dispensing single vision, multifocal and high-index lenses.
- Conducting professional spectacle collections, ensuring fit, comfort and visual performance are checked where appropriate.
- Booking, amending and managing appointments using in-store systems.
- Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Completing customer records and paperwork to a high standard.
- Understanding and following NHS guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
- Acting as a positive ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has current optical experience, optical experience within the last 5 years, or a strong background in customer service and/or retail.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer care.
- Is organised, accurate and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes pride in providing a professional and welcoming service.
- Is eager to learn and develop within a supportive team environment.
