Full job description

JC Landscapes Ltd is a long established landscape company, who require an experienced team leader to join our highly respected firm.

The company look after a variety of commercial and domestic properties and are looking for a candidate with a high level of experience to join the team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their career & grow with the company in a most worthwhile industry.

In this role, there is the potential for advancement beyond garden maintenance to include responsibilities such as pricing and, eventually, managerial duties. This opportunity is best suited for someone ambitious and eager to grow within the company.

We will require x2 references if your application is successful.

Role Requirements

Horticultural qualifications
A minimum of 2 years team leader experience
A good eye for detail, punctual & reliable with a good work ethic
Good knowledge of plants, garden maintenance & the tools used (power & hand)
Good organisational skills, well presented & good communication skills
An enthusiastic & passionate attitude towards their work
Clean driver’s licence.
Some sites may require a DBS certificate so this will be applied for if the position is offered

Role Responsibilities

Maintaining client gardens to the expected high standard.
Liaising and communicating directly with clients where necessary.
Lawn care - mowing, fertilizing, moss control.
Plant, shrub and tree care - pruning, insect control, pest control
Hedge trimming.
Weed control.
Carrying out seasonal required tasks and activities.
Installing Spring, Summer and Winter bedding arrangements.
Operating and maintaining water irrigation systems where necessary.
Operating and maintaining tools and machinery: hand-tools, mower, blower, hedge trimmer, long-arm trimmer, scarifier, pressure-washer.
Operating and maintaining your assigned vehicle/van.
Transportation and disposal of green waste at local refuse sites when required.
Secure handling and storing of client’s keys and security/alarm codes.
Ad hoc duties as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
