The Role
As a Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist, you will act as the main point of contact for patients during their treatment journey. This is a key role within the practice, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their treatment decisions from consultation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Communication: Build strong relationships with patients, answering questions and addressing concerns regarding treatment plans.
- Treatment Coordination: Clearly explain treatment options, procedures, costs, and timelines in a professional and reassuring manner.
- Financial Coordination: Support patients in understanding payment and financing options.
- Appointment Scheduling: Arrange and coordinate treatment appointments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Patient Follow-Ups: Proactively manage follow-up communications after consultations and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to maximise patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare environment (preferred).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (training provided if required).
- Confident using dental software and general IT systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
