Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently to deliver high-quality results. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and measuring to ensure proper installation of flooring materials.
- Cut and shape flooring materials using hand tools and power tools to fit specific areas accurately.
- Install various types of flooring such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tiles according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and adhere to building codes.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to ensure durability and finish standards are met.
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, or general construction is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication can be beneficial for complex projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, and measuring tapes.
- Competence with power tools including saws, drills, and sanders.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and flooring installation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Pay: £24,420.00-£51,401.31 per year
