Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic GP to join our team for 4-8 sessions per week on a fixed‑term contract until 31st March 2027. The successful candidate will join our clinical team and deliver high standards of primary care, supporting continuity and quality of service throughout the period of cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general medical services to registered and temporary patients in line with NHS standards and practice protocols.
Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone consultations, with a focus on patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience.
Manage a varied clinical caseload including chronic disease management, acute illness, preventive care, and minor injuries.
Complete clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, results review and correspondence.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous patient records in line with practice policy and professional standards.
Participate in duty doctor sessions, triage as required and contribute to practice meetings where relevant.
