About the Role
As a Teacher at Clannad School, you will deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our learners. You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop essential skills, and re-engage with education.
This role involves working with children and young people who may not thrive in mainstream settings and require a flexible, creative, and therapeutic approach to learning. You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons, tracking progress, and supporting each pupil’s individual journey.

Working With Us
In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary team
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
- Term time only (aligned with local authority academic dates)

Salary
- £31,689 – £37,932 per annum

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths and/or Science
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A flexible, child-centred approach to teaching
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
Experience in specialist or alternative education is beneficial, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a passion for supporting young people.
