Pay Rates:
- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
- Age 18–20: £10.85 per hour
- Under 18: £8.00 per hour
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Front of House / Barista to join our growing team at The Southfork Cafe & Deli.
This role is ideal for someone who loves customer service and cafe culture but wants genuinely sociable working hours. With no late nights or evening shifts, this is a fantastic hospitality role for people wanting a better work-life balance and more time outside work.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or light snacks in a courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including coffee machines and serving stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or waitress is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures is preferred.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
