Full job description

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Field Supervisor to join our fantastic team covering the Launceston, Lifton and Okehampton areas.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to support our established domiciliary care team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years' experience working within Adult Health and Social Care and either hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 3 Diploma in Lead Adult Care.

Our Field Supervisors are primarily field-based and play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. Duties include undertaking care visits, conducting service reviews and spot checks, supporting care staff remotely, and acting as a point of contact for both clients and carers. There will also be opportunities to undertake administrative duties from our office in Tavistock.

Is flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the service
Can lead by example and support, mentor and encourage other members of the care team
Is committed to maintaining high standards and promoting best practice at all times

This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Hours can be flexible; however, candidates must be available to work morning shifts (8:00am–2:00pm), evening shifts (4:00pm–9:00pm) and alternate weekends. The role also includes participation in our paid on-call rota.

We offer competitive rates of pay and, in addition, we pay travel time and mileage between clients, ensuring staff are paid for the time spent supporting people in the community as well as travelling between visits.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the nature of the role.
