About Us

L.R Decorators is a growing decorating company delivering high-quality painting and decorating services for both residential and commercial clients. We take pride in our work and are looking for a skilled subcontractor decorator to join our team.

The Role

As a self-employed painter and decorator, you will:

Carry out painting, wallpapering, and decorating work to a professional standard

Prepare and finish surfaces in both domestic and commercial projects

Work independently or as part of a small team

Maintain professionalism and excellent client communication

What We Offer

Regular ongoing decorating jobs

Competitive pay: £130–£150 per day, depending on experience

Paid weekly, with an extra bonus for completing work on time

Variety of projects and a supportive working environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a painter and decorator

Strong time management and organisational skills

Own transport, tools, and PPE

Self-employed with a UTR number

CSCS card preferred but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: £16.25-£18.75 per hour

Experience:

Painting & decorating: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

NVQ (preferred)
CSCS (preferred)

Work Location: In person
