Account Executive Trainee
Leeds | £30,000 base + £30,000 OTE (£60k package)

This is not a typical entry-level sales role. This is your launchpad into one of the fastest-growing sectors in tech, with the backing, pace, and opportunity to build something meaningful.

We’re working with a high-growth, private equity–backed cybersecurity group that’s scaling aggressively through acquisition and organic growth. In under a year, they’ve built a £24m business by bringing together some of the UK’s most respected cybersecurity specialists. Their sights are set firmly on £60m within the next three years.

The proposition is powerful: a team capable of delivering at scale, but still agile enough to genuinely care about client outcomes. It’s a space where large incumbents stumble and smaller operators can’t compete. That’s where this business wins.

The Opportunity As an Account Executive Trainee, you’ll step into a true 360 sales role from day one. You won’t be passing leads on or sitting behind someone else’s pipeline. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from first outreach to closing the deal.

You’ll be joining one of two new high-performance sales pods being built in Leeds, supported by a serious investment in marketing and demand generation. Think inbound MQLs, intent data, account-based marketing, and AI-driven outreach, all designed to help you succeed alongside your own outbound activity.

What You’ll Be Selling You’ll be positioning cybersecurity services that businesses actively need, including:

Cyber Essentials – high-demand, fast-cycle opportunities
Penetration Testing – specialist services with real differentiation

What Your Day Looks Like

High-volume outbound prospecting, building your own pipeline
Qualifying opportunities and booking meetings
Running your own sales conversations and demos
Closing deals end-to-end and earning on what you deliver
Managing inbound marketing-qualified leads alongside outbound activity
Building a solid client base that grows with you
