Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager specialising in cleaning services to oversee operations within our designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning teams, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining client satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and supervisory experience to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across multiple sites within the area.
Lead, motivate, and develop cleaning teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
Plan and organise staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all client sites.
Monitor performance standards, conduct regular inspections, and implement improvements where necessary.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Prepare reports on operational performance, staff utilisation, and client feedback for senior management.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within the cleaning or facilities management sector.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
