Overview
We are looking for a fully qualified, time-served joiner with at least five years of experience after completing an apprenticeship. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of all aspects of joinery, including new-build properties, residential extensions, and barn conversions. You must be able to interpret architects’ and engineers’ drawings, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and hold a full driving licence. A high level of motivation, professionalism, and customer care is essential.
We deliver high-end construction projects across Yorkshire and the Northeast. The successful candidate must present themselves professionally and always keep the work area clean and tidy.
For the right candidate, this is a permanent PAYE position offering paid holidays, bank holidays and workplace pension. rate of pay to be negotiated.

Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, kitchen fitting and fitting doors and windows.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a joiner with recognised time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery and construction tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid relevant certifications or license's (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices within a construction environment.
