Shop Assistant – Polish Grocery Store (Hinckley)

Kajtek Grocery is a busy and growing Polish grocery store in Hinckley. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and takes pride in maintaining high standards in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service;

- Operating the till and handling cash/card payments accurately;

- Restocking shelves and checking product dates;

- Receiving and organising deliveries;

- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented;

- Assisting customers with product enquiries;

- Supporting the team during busy periods.

Requirements:

- Fluent Polish and English (required);

- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential;

- Weekend availability required;

- Flexible with shifts (including mornings and evenings);

- Friendly, responsible and organised personality;

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

We offer a stable position in a supportive and friendly team within the local Polish community.
