We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Programme and Marketing Coordinator for a unique joint role supporting the Leicestershire & Rutland Teaching School Hub and The Knowledge Hub.
This exciting split role combines programme coordination, communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement across two closely-related organisations committed to improving education through high-quality teacher and leadership development.
About the role
Both organisations are part of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust. Three days per week will be spent supporting the Leicestershire & Rutland Teaching School Hub, helping coordinate our growing initial teacher training provision alongside wider programme administration and marketing activity. Our Teaching School Hub is one of just 87 centres of excellence nationally accredited to deliver the Department for Education’s ‘golden thread’ of teacher development - from Initial Teacher Training through to leadership, headship and beyond.
Two days per week will support The Knowledge Hub (St Martin’s Catholic Academy), a growing organisation delivering two flagship programmes:
- The Exemplary Leadership Programme. The ELP is accessed by school leaders both nationally and internationally. Training is predominantly delivered via online platforms and school visits. The programme has been running successfully for several years.
- The Exemplary Teaching Programme The ETP launched in October 2025 and is already proving popular with both primary and secondary teachers. The programme includes online training and in person workshops.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring programmes run smoothly while helping both organisations strengthen communications, recruitment, partnerships, and professional engagement.
What you’ll be doing
You will:
- Coordinate the administration and operational delivery of teacher training and professional development programmes
- In conjunction with wider teams, organise events, training sessions, webinars, and communications
- Support recruitment and onboarding activity for programmes and participants
- Create newsletters, website content, social media updates, and promotional materials
- Build positive relationships with schools, facilitators, trainees, and partners
- Help maintain and develop the professional profile and reputation of both organisations
- Support data management, reporting, CRM systems, and programme evaluation
- For the Knowledge Hub only, support operational finance aspects in conjuction with the CMAT Finance Team
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines confidently
- Is digitally confident and comfortable using a range of communication platforms
- Has experience in administration, programme coordination, marketing, or communications
- Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong professional relationships
- Has a professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach
- Ideally has experience within education, training, or professional development settings
