Full job description

Sonographer – Yorkshire & North East (Flexible NHS Sessions)

Alliance Clinical Services are seeking experienced Sonographers to support NHS waiting list initiatives across Yorkshire and The Humber. This will be for mid-week activity with 1-5 days per week, with the potential of weekend availability. £20 per scan (up to 3 scans per hour). £10 for DNA's.

Locations: Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Middlesbrough, Manchester, York, Hull and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for clinicians who scan for:

General/Abdominal
Head & Neck
Liver
Breast
Gynae
MSK
Paediatrics
Testes
Vascular

Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to capture images for diagnostic purposes.
Provide patient care and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
Utilize anatomy knowledge to accurately locate and identify structures during scans.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for accurate imaging results.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year NHS Hospital Sonography experience
UK work authorisation
Strong ultrasound and patient care skills
Indemnity insurance
