About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Wraparound Care Worker to join our team, delivering high-quality breakfast and after-school provision within primary schools across the Worcester area.
This role involves creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment where children can enjoy a variety of activities before and after the school day. You will play a key role in supporting children’s wellbeing, encouraging active play, creativity and positive social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children aged 5–12 in a safe and supportive environment
- Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities (sports, games, arts & crafts)
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, school staff and parents
- Support children’s social development, confidence and wellbeing
- Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and resources
- Manage behaviour in a positive and encouraging manner
- Maintain registers and follow company procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience working with children (school, coaching, childcare or similar)
- A positive, energetic and approachable personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- A genuine passion for working with children
Desirable (but not essential):
- Relevant childcare or coaching qualification
- First Aid qualification
- Safeguarding training
- Experience delivering sports or activity-based sessions
