Job Description: Groundworks Operatives (Front End & Back End)
Reliable drainage management on plot works and finishing works a bonus.

Contract: 2-year+ opportunity for the right candidates (permanent / long-term for skilled operatives)
We are currently looking for experienced Front End and Back End Groundworks Operatives to join our growing team on projects in the Yarm area.
Front End Groundworks Operatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of internal and external drainage systems
- Concrete slab laying and finishing
- Scaffolding erection and dismantling (Matt Block & Beam experience essential)
- General front-end groundworks and associated tasks
Back End Groundworks Operatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Flagging and block paving
- Kerb laying
- Topsoil handling and finishing
- All associated back-end groundworks and reinstatement works
Important Notes:
- We need both Back End and Front End workers.
- If you are a 360 driver, you must be a fully skilled groundworker – we do not just employ drivers.
Requirements for Both Roles:
- Proven experience in groundworks / civils (skilled level essential)
- Relevant tickets highly desirable:
- CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred)
- Dumper Ticket
- Roller Ticket
- 360 Excavator Ticket
- Full driving licence and own transport advantageous
- Ability to work safely and productively as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and time-served in the trade
Exceptions: Fully skilled gangs are welcome to apply. Strong, fully skilled individual lads paired with a reliable labourer will also be considered.

- Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 1:30pm Friday (paid full shift)

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT WANT LABOURERS IF YOU COME HERE SAYING YOUT A GROUNDWORKER YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DO DRAINAGE OFF A DRAWING DRIVES, PATIOS , DRAINAGE , KERB or a range of these activities. If not you get sent home with no pay.
