Doorcare South West Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated Window, Door and Industrial Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience installing, servicing, or repairing windows, doors, or similar products who is looking to expand their skills into the industrial door sector. Previous experience with industrial doors is welcome but not essential.If you have a practical, hands-on approach, good technical ability, and enjoy working in a varied role, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities9
- Install, service, maintain and repair commercial windows and doors.
- Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial doors, roller shutters, sectional doors, and high-speed doors (full training provided where required).
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective on-site repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Work independently and as part of a team across customer sites.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately.
About YouWe're looking for someone who has:
- Experience installing, servicing, or repairing windows and doors, or a similar hands-on trade.
- Good mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to use hand and power tools safely and confidently.
- A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A CSCS card or other relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- The ability to work at height and in a range of site environments.
